At a public meeting held some lime auo a resolution was carried asking the Borough Council to provide for (lie removal of rubbish from residences. At last night's Council meeting, the Mayor moved, and Cr. Bryant seconded, that a weekly removal of rubbish lie made within the business area, and outside when and where required, and Cimi tenders be called for the said removal at per box or tin containing no! more than six cubic feet. Payment to he made where service is rendered. The Mayor said most boroughs provided such a system. The motion was carried.
