MARRIAGE.

A wedding which created a good deal of interest took place in the t'oxlon Presbyterian Church yesterday at midday. The contracting parties were Mr G. H. C. Brown, sou of Air A. A. Brown, of Waikanae, and Miss M. E. C. Moffat, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs William Moffat, well-known settlers of Oroua Downs. The church was tilled with interested spectators, and was tastefully decorated. The service was conducted by the Bev. J. H. Bredin, and Mrs Claris presided at the organ. The wedding party was liberally besprinkled with confetti on leaving the church. A large number of friends were entertained at break-fast: at Perreau’s rooms after the ceremony, when the usual toasts were honoured. Mr and Mrs Brown left by motor car for Napier, where the honeymoon is to be spent.
