TOWN CLERK’S REPORT.

The Town Clerk reported as follows on the working of the borough tor the past month at last night’s Council meeting: — “I have the honour to report as follows: The road staff has been engaged on the following works during the past month, viz.—Piping Awahou drain, tarring Alairt Street, tarring foot crossings in Main Street, and genera! maintenance work. Before taking any further action I would be pleased to receive the Council's opinion in the matter.
