MILITARY APPEAL BOARD.
At the Palmers ton sitting of the first Wellington (Military Appeal Board yesterday, Patrick AVilliam Daly, swamp manager, Moutoa, did not appear to support his appeal, which was that of permanent unfitness. Captain Walker stated that under the Medical Board’s report the appeal would have to he allmved. James William McAllister, Foxton, whose appeal avus adjourned from the previous silting to ulloav of appellant being examined by the Medical Board, said the Board had graded him as 81, lit for service after treatment. Appellant explained that he was a widower, and his younger son was a chronic invalid. avlio Avould have no one to look after him if appellant were called up. Appellant had two sons who had returned from the front, one of whom had been under medical treatment ever since be had come hack. The appeal avus adjourned until April 20th.
