PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

A meeting of managers of the local Presbyterian Church was held last night. Present: Rev -1. IT. Bredin (moderator), Messrs Claris, Hornhlow, Henderson, Renton, McMurray and Speirs. Messrs Horublow, Renton and McMurray were appointed a snh-commitlee to carry out improvements for choir accommodation. It was resolved to fence the rear of the church section, the details to be arranged by Mr Claris. Resolved to postpone the effort in li(|nidation of the manse loan until February. A hearty vote of (hanks was accorded an anonymous donor for gift of £4 towards planting the river bank at the rear of the manse. Messrs Henderson and McMurray were appointed delegates to the next quarterly district meeting, to he held at Rangiotu in .January. Other routine business was transacted, and the meeting terminated.
