“OUR PICTURES.” “STOLEN AIACIC.” A programme ol‘ quite an originai nature will be screened at the Town Hall to-morrow night, “Stolen Magic.” Alack Sennett, the originator of Keystones, is now personally appearing in some of the Triangle Comedies together with Maliel Normand and Raymond Hitchcock, who is one of the newest Triangle recruits from the American comedy stage. Air Sennett and A'liss Normand act. as host and hostess to Mr Hitchcock, who appears in the role of a, traveller from India, and who brings back to America a work on magic and a collection of sacred snakes. It can be imagined what turmoil is caused in the hitherto peaceful household when a bucketful of snakes break loose and’take charge of the plane. They are under the control of the guest, however, and in response to his whistling and calling follow him to his room. The .Brahmin seeking to recover (he magic scroll is mixed up in the proceedings. An interesting “cutback” shows how Hitchcock stole 1 (lie magic book from the East Indian temple and how the uaulch girls damn'd weirdly before him. The Hindu pursuer is a bomb-thrower, aud there are some funny moments when Hitchcock and Sennett gel unwelcome possession of the bomb. In the end the scroll is restored to the East Indian, and all ends happily. “Stolen Alagic” lias been aptly described as “an Arabian Nights” tale brought up to date and Keystoniscd.” On tile programme is also a very line Vitagraph two-recler called “His Bidden (train,” an interesting subject entitled "How Flowers Breathe,” Charlie Chaplin cartoons, War Topical, and a scenic trip round London in snow-lime.
