MAGISTRATE’S JUDGMENTS.
IN FOXTON CASES. At the Magistrate’s Court, Palmcrslon North, yesterday morning, Mr J. IV. Foynton, SAL, delivered reserved judgment in two Foxton cas'es heard at recent sit lings of the Conn lot-ally. Eli 1 {lit)J{N AND CHRYSTALL. In this case, Frederick Ehrborn, share-milker, proceeded against •John Chry.stall, farmer, vo recover the sum of £11(5, being £(!(> for breaking in (It; heifers, and £SO for alleged breach of share-milking agreement. After reviewing the circumstances and evidence, the Magistrate gave judgment for plaintiff for the total amount claimed, £11<), witii costs. Security for appeal was fixed at £ls 15s od. FLAX FIRE CASE. Judgment was also given in the case B(evens, Easton and Austin v. John Chryslall and Carl Landijiiist, a claim for £9O for -10 tons of green flax destroyed at 30s per ton and £3O for damage l<> roots am] seed through a tire lit by Lnmlqnist, which spread from Chryslall's land on to plaintiffs' property. After hearing the evidence, the Magistrate reserved, judgment in order that lie might first inspect the property. Judgment, was given yesterday for plaintiff for £54, being the amount of damage assessed by (he Magistrate, with costs £8 15s (Id. Security for appeal was fixed at £ls 15s (id.
