SUNK BY A MINE.
CUNARD LIRER ALAUNIA, New York, Oct. 10. The (Junard line announce that the liner Alauuia (13,105 tons), from Rew York to Falmouth with 200 passengers, struck a mine in the English Channel after landing her sengers at Falmouth, and sank. The captain and the majortiy of the crew were saved.
