AIKS, LULL'S VISIT. On Tuesday afternoon next, nt 3 o’clock, AJrs Luke, Mayoress of Wellington, will meet the womenfolk ok Foxton in the supperroom of the Town Hall anil explain to them the operations and scope of the Lady Liverpool and Ked Cross Societies and the Christmas Clift Lund. Mrs Luke’s visit is not held under the auspices of any of the local Guilds, but is of a general character, with the object of stimulating' a greater interest in the work which is being accomplished by the women of the Dominion on behalf of our soldiers and sailors. It is hoped that every one who can make it convenient to attend will do so. A silver coin collection will be taken up at the meeting in aid of the Christmas Gift Lund, and those attending are invited to bring along cakes or sandwiches.
