“OUR” PICTURES. Another complete change of programme will he screened at the Town Hall to-night, an outstanding
feature being a 4,000 ft. Pasquali di’ama entitled, “Souls Aflame,” with a strong list; of supporting pictures.
PR 1 DAY AND SATURDAY,
A programme of exceptional merit will he screened on Friday and Saturday, featuring as a star item. “The Imposter.” Sir Anthony Gregson, Dart., an Englishman, is wealthy from coal mines, and is unpopular with his employees. Sir Anthony has one son, Aubrey, who has angered his fa (her by falling in Jove with Maxy Priestly, the young (laughter of Mr Priestly, who, taking jtity on (he lad, gives him work in his ofliee. Sir Anthony also has a twin brother who has dx’ojijiel out, of his life. The brother is “Dlink.” He marries a Gijisy girl, known as “The Terror.” 'flu* minei’s have struck because <>J small wages and unsafe equipment. Blink, as Sir Anthony, agrees to look over the mines and investigate. After he investigates, he orders that new and safe equipment shall ho bought, and that the miners’ salaries shall he raised. The supposed Sir Anthony becomes an idol with the miners, (longer, the friend of Blink in his former life, has been frying (o see whom lie thinks is Six’ Anthony. Having found Sir Anthony dead in Blink’s hut, he thinks that Sir Anthony has killed Blink and eloped with “The Texror.” (longer is eager for revenge. He finds “The Tex’ror” frightened for Blink’s ife, keeps putting Gouger off. At last, however, he cannot he put off any longer, and Blink agrees to see him. Aubrey, Maxy, and Miss Gibson are in Ihe room. To satisfy Gouger it is necessary for Blink to disclose his identity before Aubrey. This satisfies Gouger. Aubrey does not: mind, as lie has grown to love Blink, as his real father had disinherited him, while Blink makes him his heir. This arrangement pleases all concerned, Blink again marries “The Terror” for appearances’ sake, and Anhx’oy marries Mary. A supporting lihn of great interest is “With the Indian Troops at the Front,” showing types of Indian soldiei’s, a regimental Durbar, Indian soldiers at work, sharpening kukris to attack, Indian soldiers at play, and trench construction.
