FULLER’S PICTURES. A purl icularly strong programme will he screened at Fuller's tonight, headed by a four-act Mutual master play, a picture for mothers and daughters, conveying a comprehensive, thundering message to mankind, “Up From I la* Depths." This wonderful play tears aside (he veil of prudery and pretence. It is a throbbing story of a woman’s error and a man’s injustice. Dare Vincent is a happy girl who meets a man posing as a great missionary. She hears him speak at one of the great open-air meetings of tin* Revivalists. lie secs her, and mentally marks her as fair and innocent prey for his rapacity. A year later he leaves her, a mother, but not a wife. She later learns that he is married. In New York she tries to see him, but the hand of society intervenes. It allows him to rise, hut forces her to sink. One day that hand is raised for a minute. Then there is a conllicl wherein all the evil of the hypocrite asserts itself, and the latent good within an abandoned soul rises to the surface —a conllicl which is, 100, a battle of the sexes, and a climax of terrific force. .MONDAY AND TUESDAY. An outstanding feature of Monday's change of programme is “The Shnlamite,” a vivid and forceful representation of Alice and Claude Askew’s superb novel of that title, live thousand feet long, pictured in three acts. Norman McKinnell and Manora Thew are featured in this great picture. The Shnlamite is she who is desired of men ; sin l who is desired lives always and everywhere. “ The Shnlamite” is produced with an extraordinary attention to detail, and a fidelity to the scenes so beautifully described in the novel. The acting is superb throughout. The cast includes the popular British actor, Gerald Ames, who is supported hy a magnilieenl cast, headed by two new leading players, Aliss Manora Thew and Norman McKinnell.
