FOXTON PATRIOTIC SOCIETY.
The patriotic shop was opened as usual on Saturday, March iSth, under Mesdames Chas. and John Robinson, and gifts are acknowledged from the following : Mesdames ,F. Proctor, Kellow, F. Robinson, Woodham, W. Nye, Haynes, Frafacis, Jas. Robinson, A. King, Murphy, Kerr-Hislop, Stevenson, P. Robinson, Moore, Dudson, Harvey, W. Symons, A, S. Easton and Turner, Miss King, Messrs Hughes, Furrie, Bullard, Speits and a Friend. The shop was again opened last Saturday under the supervision of Mrs Harvey and Miss Moxham, and gifts are acknowledged from the following ; Mesdames Raine, H. Thynne, T. Brewer, F. Robinson, A. King, P. Robinson, C. Symons, Kellow, Renton, Signal, G. W. Jackson, Mandl, C. E. Robinson, Preston, Ne«bU, John Robinson, J. W. Stev -i, W.
Ross, J. H. Robinson, Aitken, Miss Ross, Miss Neylon, Messrs Hughes, hreeman, Dr. KerrHislop, Bowe, R. Gray, G. Hughes jar., Roy Jackson, W. Derrick, W. Ross, C, Symons. Good business was done on each occasion.
The shop will be opened on Saturday next under the charge of Mesdames Mandl and A. Ross, who will gratefully acknowledge any gifts.
A meeting of the Executive of the Society was held last evening, when it was decided to form a sub committee to formulate a programme for the celebration of Anzac Day on the 25th April, same to be submitted to a meeting of the Executive on the 13th April. It was decided to hold a monthly meeting of the Society on the second Thursday of each month, when all persons interested in patriotic *work are invited to attend.
