NAVAL BATTLE.

GERMAN PATROL VESSELS SUNK. DESTOYER MEDUSA LOST, London, March 26. The High Commission reports : British seaplanes yesterday attacked German airship sheds in Schleswig - Holstein, east of the island of Sylt. The seaplanes were convoyed to their rendezvous, close to the German coast, by light cruisers and destroyers under Commodore Tyrwhitt. Three of the seaplanes are miss-' ing. The torpedo boat destroyers Medusa and Laverock collided. It is feared that, in the stormy weather prevailing, the Medusa may be lost ; but no misgivings are felt for the safety of the crew. Two German armed patrol vessels have been sunk by destroyers, A detailed report has not yet been received ; but the Danish press indicates that the operations in the enemy’s waters achieved their object.
