FULLER’S PICTURES
“TWO WOMEN.’’
One of the best programmes yet screened at the people’s popular picture theatre was witnessed by a large and appreciative audience at the Town Hall last night. An outstanding feature is aVitagraph masterpiece entitled, “ Two Women.” One as wise as a serpent, the other as innocent and as harmless as a dove. The charms of one lead men to death and despair ; the charms ot the other to true happiness. Part of the . play takes place on the Continent, and some dramatic casino incidents are shown,' while the concluding portion is laid amongst scenery of indescribable beauty. It is a play that one follows through every phase with ever increasing interest, the end being most dramatic and a complete surprise. A lull complement of supporting items constitute a truly magnificent programme.
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY “THE MILLION DOLLAR MYSTERY.”
The 6th episode of the popular serial picture, “The Million Dollar Mystery,” will be screened on Wednesday and Thursday together with a splendid selection of interesting items. This series opens with Eraine and the Countess discussing their failures. They discover a strange man watching the Countess's apartments. Alarmed, they decide they must act quickly. They plan another scheme to get not only Florence, but Jones 100. Florence is invited by the Countess to a coaching party out to an old mansion ; Jones is invited also. The members of the “Black Hundred” gather secretly at the mansion to carry out the fiendish plan. On the way the coaching party meet Norton. Fearing he knows not what, he secretly follows. Florence is lured into the trap. Norton rescues her, aided by Jones. The three start away on horseback but are pursued. Jones stops, and by fearless, hazardous tactics delays the pursuers, while Florence and Norton gallop away. Other items are : “The New Valet,” comedy ; “The Cotton Industry,” educational ; “The Little Catamount,” drama ; “Wifiles on the Riviera,” comedy: “The European Gazette” ; and “Britain’s New Army,” interest.
