THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH .COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows ; The hemp market is steadier, with a good demand for all descriptions and prices are firm. New Zealand good lair £47 10s, fair £46, Manila new graded fair £55, coarse £SO. February-May shipments good fair £46 10s, fair £45, Manila new graded fair £54, coarse £49. The output from Manila for the week was 16,000 bales.
