WEDDING.
HAZLRTT HEMMINGSEN.
A quiet hut. pretty wedding was celebrated in the local Presbyterian Church on Monday last, by the Rev J, H. Bredin, when Ernest Charles Hazlett, youngest son of Nurse Snow, of Foxton, was united to Gladys Dag mar Hemmingsen, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Hemtningsen, of Foxton. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a handsome white voile dress and veil and orange blossom, and carried a shower bouquet. She was attended by her cousin, Miss Violet Engebritsen (attired in a pale blue voile dress and hat to match), and niece, Miss Malva Hemmingsen (who wore a pretty embroidered dress and carried a basket of flowers). The bride’s travelling dress was a blue serge costume with hat to match. Mr Keilsen, ot Hawke’s Bay, acted as groomsman. The wedding breakfast was held at 2 o’clock at the residence of the bride’s parents. The happy couple were the recipients of a number of costly and useful presents. Mr and Mrs Hazlett left by the afternoon train for Linton, where the honeymoon is being spent.
