ENTERTAINMENTS.
FULLER’S PICTURES,
There was a large and appreciative audience at the Town Hall last night to witness the initial screening of what is undoubtedly a splendid programme. An outstanding feature is a splendid story of sentiment and stirring adventure entitled, “A Child of God.” The redemption of a rough ranchman from the rude, careless life of the plains, through the transforming power of God’s word and the love of a pure woman, are the dominant ideas in this exciting story of one of the world’s greatest novelists. Supporting Items consist of a splendid selection of scenic, dramatic and comic items including The Melbourne Cup of 1915, which will be repeated to night. WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY. “THE MILLION DOLLAR MYSTERY.” The third episode of the popular serial, “A Leap in the Dark,” will take pride of place in the change of programme for Wednesday and Thursday. Reports having come to hand that an ocean steamer has brought ashore a stranger rescued from a wrecked balloon with 5,000 in his pocket, Norton sets out to fiud him. The scenes shift from one place to another as the gang endeavour to secure their victim. Faster grows the action, aud more spectacular the sensations, as each episode of this stupendous production is revealed upon the screen. Additional attractions are: “San Reno,” scenic; “Chiefly Concerning Males,” comedy ; “Pathe Gazette” ; “A Mother’s Justice,” drama; “Cartoons in a Hotel,” interest ; and “Mabel Won and Lost,” Keystone comedy.
