SHIPPING.

The Woottou from Akaroa with a full load of cattle and sheep was due at the local port on this morning’s tide, but did not arrive. Advice has been received from Wanganui, stating that the vessel had put into that port on account of stress of weather, and that a considerable number of the sheep bad died. The Kennedy coal laden Irom Westport arrived this morning. She will sail again to-night for Terakohe to load cement for Foxton.

The Queeu of the South with general from Wellington is due to-morrow.
