BOWLING.
The following rink visited Palmerston North ou Saturday to play the holders (Tasker’s rink) of the Manson and Barr Cup : D. Whibley, Spring, Nye aud Riramer (s). They suffered defeat by 18 points to 9. On the local green to-morrow aftfernoon the first game for the Nye Ferns will be played. The holders are Betty, Barr, Spring, McColl (s), and the challenging team Walker, Smith, F. Whibley, Nye (s). The match will commence at 2.30 o’clock.
