A nurse girl is advertised for. An advertiser wants to sell a few articles of household furniture. Mr W. de Ridder inserts a thanks notice in this issue. The well-known firm of furnishers, W. Pegden, ot Palmerston North, insert a change advertisement in their space on page 4of this issue, in which they announce that they •can supply any demand for honestly made, highly artistic furniture.
In another column the Town Clerk notifies the appointment of Mr Samuel Read as fire inspector, ranger, and dog registrar for the period ending December 31st., 1916, and that Mr Reid’s office will be at his place of residence, Coley Street.
