FOXTON LADIES' SEWING GUILD.
CASE OF CLOTHING SHIP
FED TO-DAY
This morning the above guild forwarded to the High Commissioner London, a large case chock full of useful garments for the poor of Great Britain and Belgium. The ladies are to be commended for the excellent work accomplished in so short a time, for it is only five weeks since the guild commenced operations. More funds are required to purchase material and to this end another benefit picture entertainment will be held in the Royal on Monday evening, when the patronage of the public Is solicited. As before, the guild will be given the gross takings of the show. Those who cannot make it convenient to attend may assist the guild by purchasing tickets or contributing to the funds. Contributions may be forwarded to Mrs R, Moore or Miss J. Ross, the joint secretaries.
