“HOME SWEET HOME.”
The management have great pleasure iu announcing that magnificent picturisation of John Howard Payne’s immortal ballad, “Home Sweet Home,” for one night only, to-morrow Friday, the gth, depicting a photo drama of appealing wide world sentiment ot beautiful motive, imbued with the genius of the great D. W. Griffith, the world's paramount picture producer. A heart drama of mighty profound straggles for life and love. Intending patrons are advised to book early as the box plan is filling rapidly. Holders of sixpenny tickets may book seats in circle for sixpence, extra.
Saturday’s programme includes an item of exceptional interest, “Out of the Depths,” First of all a love story, but the story ofalove that is harassed by lire theft ol a large sum of money, which drives tbe young cashier of a bank to enlist in the army. There follows a sequence of events —exciting, interesting and novel. The audience is carried away by unexpected turns, sensational thrills and a very happy climax. Olher items of special interest are : a production bubbling with healthy j ally, fun, “ Such a Mess a fascinating and appealing drama of a little show girl, “ Happy GoLucky a picturesque display of the hospitalities, politics, and amusements of our nearest neighbours, “ The Australian Gazette,” rich iu the varieties of scenes and happenings throughout Australia ; a strong drama of the American wilderness, vividly portrayed, “ Where the Mountains Meet the joyous adventures of a very merry boy, ” Andy Learns to Swim to bid you good-night in a merry mood, a ripping Keystone comedy, “He loved the Ladies,” sparkling with laughter and Hie — life of gay restaurants. Hubby pretends to go to New York ; instead, he has a merry time with some girls, Wifey happens along to see some furf, and unexpectedly sees hubby. Oh my !• That restaurant is kept very merry and bright, and the audience enjoy every phase of it, Matinee as usual at 2.30,
ROYAL PICTURES. A big attraction has been secured fot the Royal to-night in " the War Baby," a film that has had an exceptional run wherever shown. It is a drama of intense interest, in the production .of which no expense was spared. As it will only be shown one night in Foxtou, the public will be well advised to see it at the Royal tonight. For Saturday night there are three great star - features: "the Fringe of the Glove," " the Passion of Diana ’’ and the last series of that great production "Lucille Love."
