TO-MORROW'S RACES.

The indications are for a fine day to-morrow and if so the local Racing Club should have a most successful gathering. A number of horses arrived in Foxton yesterday and a further lot by train to-day. The acceptances are very satisfactory and it is anticipated _ that the scratchings on the day will be very light, so good fields are practically assured for all events. The train arrangements are such as to suit the convenience of visitors from the surrounding districts and as the meeting is a very popular one there should be a record attendance.
