BOWLING.
The local bowling green will be officially opened by the Club’s president, Mr F. Woods, at 2.30 o’clock to-morrow afternoon, and a cordial invitation to be present is extended to the public. Visiting bowlers are expected from the Levin, Shannon, and Terrace End Clubs, and given fine weather, the opening should be very successful. The green is in good order lor this time of the year, and will compare favourably with other greens in the district.
