MUNICIPAL PICTURES,
The programme for Saturday night promises to be as attractive as usual. The star film, “By Man's Daws,” is a magnificent A.B. special, featuring the lust for gold and the abuse of power, being a great play on a great subject, a great dramatic work asking a question and demanding an answer, a theme of world-wide interest, the gold of the moneys gods, the wheels of destiny, and the unequal distribution of wealth. Ohe other dramas are “A King of Marksmen,” “The Hindoo Charm,” and “The Actress.” The first is a thrilling story replete with startling situations, being a remarkable photo-drama by the Gaumont Co. ; the second is a mysterious Vitagraph play dealing with the all-absorbing Indian magic, while the third is a captivating Edison drama and a powerful, emotional and wonderfully life-like production. The “Warwick Chronicle” is that delightfully illustrated newsvendor, which is greatly appreciated by patrons. The educational film, “Life in India,” is one of the most interesting of the W.F.K. series. The comics are “At the Cabaret,” “The Passing of Uncle,” and “An Interrupted Courtship.” The first is a genuine comedy by the very popular Reliance Co. ; the second is a clever Pathe comic picture which takes place amidst the wildest laughter of the spectators ; the third is one of Lubin’s latest motion comedies, being a funny tale of a man, a woman, and an umbrella.
