SKATING.

There was a very good attendance at the opening of the skating season at the Coronation Hall on Tuesday evening. All arrangements were capably carried out by the new manager, Mr Eeary, and a very pleasant time was spent. From present indications, this, season promises to be even more successful than the last. Owing to the Hall being engaged for pictures, there will be no skating on Monday next (Easter Monday), but a session will be held instead on Tuesday.
