The return match, Foxton v. Himatangi, was played at Himatangi on Saturday and resulted in an easy win for Foxton by 10 wickets.

Himatangi batted first and scored 27, none of the batsmen getting into double figures. Foxton replied with 65, of which Burgess contributed 30. In their second innings the home players put on 54, F, Wilton, 13, being the only double figure scorer, Foxton scored the lo required to win without the loss of a wicket. They continued batting until the time for drawing stumps, the score then standing at 74 for four wickets. Tullett scored 33 and Mullins 23.
