CRICKET.

The shield match, Foxtou v. Levin, played on the Park pitch on Saturday was a very close and interesting°game, Levin winning by the narrow margin of 9 runs. Foxtou batted first and compiled 52, of which Tullett, a very promising bat, scored 21. The Wickets fell as under: 1 for 0, 2—o, 3—26, 4—29, 5—3 D 6—31, 7—39. 8—39, 9—44Levin scored 61.
