BOROUGH FINANCES.

The Borough Treasurer reported as follows at Monday night’s Council meeting “I have to report that during the past mouth 8s has been received and placed to credit of the district fund, and £1 10s for the cemetery account. The bank balances are, district tund account credit ,£470 lis id, cemetery account cr. ,£lO 8s gd. The following is the position of the various accounts: General ,£49 13s Bd, reserves £Sg 14s id, gas works library £ig 5s 6d, cemetery £2 os 2d, sanitation £<36 4s id, and interest 17s ?d all at debit.— The report was adopted.
