ENTERTAINMENTS.

MUNICIPAL PICTURES.

The programme for Saturday night promises to be one of the most interesting that has been screened for months past. The star drama, “A Woman,” is an appealing story with a delightful element of romance, telling how a woman hungry for the love she has first spurned, returns it wilh the increased richness of her own. The other dramas are, ‘‘The Redman’s Burden,” a powerful and remarkable western story that will arouse sympathy for the Indian, whose happy and peaceful life is made desolute by the ruthless white man ; ‘‘The Last Days of Pompeii,” a pictorial adaptation of ancient history ; “A Timely Rescue” and ‘‘Two Little Pals” are films full of interest. The comics, “Maudie’s Adventures,” “Cassimer,.Gentleman and Pickpocket,” ‘‘Two Jolly Acrobats,” and ‘‘Bloomer and his Cousins,” are all films of a mirth promoting nature, some really remarkable and- clever vaudeville acts being exhibited by the ‘‘Two Jolly Acrobats.” Interesting events in the life of British sailors will be shown in ‘‘How He Keeps Fit.” The Warwick Topical Gazette as usual will be of high class order. A most interesting scenic film, “Through South India,” will show many unique scenes and incidents during a travel through this vast and expansive portion of the British Indian Empire.
