QUARREL ON A PONTOON.
CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER PENDING.
Auckland, May 2.
The man Harold Gladstone Brown, concerned in the' quarrel on the water front on April 18th, when Manuel Santos lost his life, was before Mr Cutten, S.M., at the Police Court to-day on a charge of manslaughter. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial, bail being allowed in two sureties of £l5O each.
