The following are the meteorological readings for the week ending April 27th, taken at the local State school: —
Average barometer, 29.75 average thermometer, 50.3 ; total rain, nil; sky, f.b. ; wind, north, and v.l.
For the past week : —Average barometer, 29.98 ; average thermometer, 51 ; total rain, 1.42 ; sky, f.b. ; wind, west, fairly strong.
