ENTERTAINMENTS.

PICTURE SHOW. A big attraction for Saturday night will be the “ Secret Treaty.” a star film of 2,800 feet, by the Cosmopolitan Film Company. Concerned as it is with intriguing and spying in high political circles, this subject provides us with sensational episodes out of the ordinary character. The most exciting incidents are naturally in the second part of the drama, whilst the staging is very successfully managed so as to sustain an atmosphere of mystery. “Other films are “The Great Diamond Robbery,” by the Vitagraph Company, concerning a ring, supposed to be in a dog, and the dog supposed to be in a sausage. “ Gentleman Joe,” by the Eubin Company, telling how an innocent man through a knock on the head is arrested for stealing and shut up in an asylum. The bangle which he is supposed to have stolen ultimately leads to his rescue.

A fine scenic showing the “ River Orme ” in all its beauty, and “ A Pathe Gazette,” the latest news of the world.

“ Tit For Tat,” a real laughter raiser, also “ The Tell Tale Umbrella.” Another side-splitter and one last long laugh is “His Father’s Choice.” A programme full of interest and fun, and we are sure that all who see it will be perfectly satisfied.
