SCHOOL EXCURSION.

The local contingent of school children will visit the battleship New Zealand on Saturday. The school children and teachers will travel free. The special from Foxton will connect with the ordinary Palmerston-Wellington train at Longburn arriving at Wellington at 12.15. The committee has arranged for the children to have a cup ot tea at Otaki and refreshments upon arrival in Wellington.

They will be taken aboard the Tutanekai at 1.30 p.m. and leave for home again at 4.15 p.m., arriving at Foxton at 9.58.
