ENTERTAINMENTS.

PICTURE SHOW

Another deeply interesting programme is advertised for Saturday night. Films are by all the wellknown companies, namely, Vitagraph, Selig, Kalem, Essanay, Lubin, Gaumont and others. “ Westeria,” a beautiful drama by the Vitagraph Company, exquisite in its tenderness and emotional appeal. It teaches a moral and disseminates an influence for good. “Sunshine,” by the Essanay Company, the month’s greatest feature. Unquestionably one of the most gripping subjects ever released. It is a very pathetic story concerning Sunshine, and her brother Joe. Joe a devoted brother dies on the scaffold to avenge his sister, and Sunshine ends her days in a convent. Their kind old friend the priest sorrowfully enters these facts in his record. The page of both lives is closed for ever. “A Soldier’s Furlough” is by the Lubin Company, and tells the tale of a brave heart, and yet another powerful subject, “ Dpwn Thro’ the Ages,” by the Kalem Company. Some beautiful views of “ The Eiffel Tower ” will also be screened. “ A Gaumont Graphic,” and the usual number of rattling good comics including “Terrible Teddy,” a breezy comedy abound- > in rip-roaring funny escapades and proving that “ Teddy Moose ” is all that hi is cracked up to be.
