ENTERTAINMENTS.

PICTURE SHOW

The pictures for to-morrow night bid fair to surpass anything yet shown in Foxton. ‘‘The Equine Spy.” This sensational production features the most marvellous horse that ever existed, he has only been approached by one, and that was Baalam’s Ass, He steals important documents, lights a beacon, saves bis master, and in short displays a sagacity aimost past belief. ‘Tn a Den of Lions.” Few people realise to the full the meaning of the phase, ‘‘behind the scenes,” roars of merriment will greet the advent of some foolish clown, and yet, an hour before, his little child had died. An endless life of m ake-belie vv. The mask of a smiling face which hides a broken heart. Also “Broncho Billy’s Last Hold Up,” Mr G. M. Anderson in his world-famous role supported by Vedah Bertram in grimly tragic and startling plot strength. And “The Diamond Path,” by the Kalem Coy. A very interesting film will be, “One Day on Board a Spanish Cruiser.” We see the men swabbing and cleaning the decks, getting ready for big gun practice and clearing the decks for action. The stream of smoke issuing from the muzzles betoken a mimic sea battle, and we realise something cf the potency of naval warfare. “The Manufacture of Postage Stamps,” and a number of first-class comedies.
