PALMERSTON NORTH WINTER SHOW.
We have pleasure in announcing this well known and popular fixture which is booked for 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th June next. The coming event promises to be of unusual interest as the shortage of space last year has compelled the committee to make further provision for the needs of exhibitors. The alterations will place (approximately - ) another 4,000 square feet at the disposal of the committee, and will further advantage visitors by enabling them to see the whole of this magnificent exhibition without leaving cover. Only those who know the Palmerston Dairy Show in wet weather can fully appreciate the convenience of this. There is no doubt that ihe educational benefit of the public spirited work being done by the membeis and supporters of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association is incalculable, and deserves the warmest approval of the public of the Dominion. An innovation this year will be a fat stock show. Two valuable ten guinea trophies are offered in the sheep and cattle divisions lor most points, straight out wins, and a big display is anticipated. Two other new departures are divisions for amateur photography and needlework. Most points trophies are also offered in these classes. The poultry committee are working hard and a huge display of birds is looked for this year. The schedule has been well revised and progressiveness appears on every page of it. Copies of same may be had from the secretary, Mr W. T, Penny, Box 85, Palmerston North.
