BOROUGH FINANCES.
At Monday night’s Council meeting the Borough Treasurer presented his monthly report, which was read as follows :
the district fund, and 10s into the cemetery account since the last monthly meeting. The bank balances this day were: District fund account 8s 4d, cemetery account 19s yd and Beach road loan account ,£76 5s 4d all to credit. The various accounts that are in credit are: General account 19s 4d, cemetery account 12s 9d, sanitation account 18s 1 id, town hall account 18s, Beach road loan 6s 1 id, interest account 2s 4d. The accounts overdrawn are: Library account £22 14s, gas works account 19s 9a. The rates are all paid with one exception, which will come before the court next sitting day.”
