i.,c k '■'amp in .. l;a t . and met a ,int jt car ou the Moutoa road, the horse swerving as the car passed, Kinley was -sitting leisurely ou the seat with his foot ou the side board of the trap and when the horse swerved his foot slipped off the board into the spokes of the wheel. Before the horse could be brought to a standstill Kiuley’s leg was broken in two places. The sufferer was brought into Foxtou for medical treatment, and v\as afterwards sent to Palmerston Hospital by train.
