The owner of a gold ring is advertised for. Elsewhere in this issue, Mr Andrew Jonson, undertaker, contradicts the rumour that he is retiring from the business, and notifies the public that having been established for the past 40 years, he has no intention of retiring from the business. As in the past, funerals will be conducted at the most reasonable rates.
Messrs L. G. West and Son, architects, invite tenders for extensive alterations to the Whitauntu mill, at Moutoa. The alterations include additions to the present buildings, erection of three large workmen’s dwellings, outhouses and stables, and construction of septic tank and drainage system. When these arrangements are carried into effect, Whitaunui Ltd.’s mill appointments will be the npst up-to-date in the Dominion. Tenders close at noon on Wednesday, 15tty inst. ■ .
