. A meeting of the School Committee, to have been held last week, lapsed for want of a quorum. Perhaps the holidays are to blame for the committeemen’s lapse. The grass crops will be exceptionally heavy this year, and the warm, dry weather of the past tew weeks has had the effect of making the crops ripen much quicker than last year.
