THE FOXTON WHARF.

A commuuicaliou received by the Auckland Harbour Board, fiom the Fnxtou Harbour Board (says the Star) sought information as to the negotiations between the Auckland Board and the Government for the purchase of the Ouehuuga wharf by the Board. The letter stated that the Foxton Harbour Board has endeavoured to negotiate, for two years past, for the purchase of the Foxton wharf from the Railway Department, but without success, and as the securing of wharfage and other revenue for expenditure on harbour improvement is viiaMo the port, any information which might help to smooth away difficulties in the matter of purchase would be gratefully welcomed.

It was decided to reply to the Foxton Board that nothing definite had yet been communicated by the Railway Department respecting the sals of the Ouehuuga wharl.
