BOY’S SUICIDE.

A MORBID LETTER.

Dunedin, Nov. 28

An inquest was held this afternoon concerning the death of Stephen Harrington, 19 oi age, who was found dead hanging from the rafters of a stable yesterday at. his father’s farm, Shiel Hill, Henderson’s Bay. The following note, written in pencil, was found in the bedroom by his father: —“Dear Father, —I am tired of the world, and it gives me pain to think that you have doue so much for me, aud have been so good a father to me. So good-bye to Renie aud yourself. —I am, your sou, Steve.”

Evidence submitted showed that deceased had been in good spirits, aud apparently had no worries.

The Coroner said there was no doubt that Ibis was a case of suicide by hanging while in a temporary state of insanity.
