BOROUGH FINANCES.
At last night’s Council meeting the Borough Treasurer presented his monthly report, which was read and is as follows
“The sum of ,£798 7s xid has been paid into the district fund account, and ,£1 xos into the cemetery account since the last monthly meeting. The bank balances this day were: District fund .£1295 6s 1 id, Beach road loan account ,£76 5s 4d and cemetery account ,£l9 19s 7d. The following accounts are in credit: General account .£3OB 13s Bd, library account ,£lB 17s 3d, reserves account ,£6B 12s 1 id, cemetery account ,£lB 17s id, sanitation account ,£155 xos, Town Hall account £3B 16s 6d, interest account ,£693 6s xod, Beach road loan ,£43 6s xxd, while the gas works account is at debit £175 15s 2d.”
