On Saturday the Foxton team journeyed to Shannon and met with defeat at the hands of the home team. Upon arrival in Shannon it was found that Foxton could only muster six men, the rest of the team, including Red- ■ grave, who leit Foxton by motor car being unable to get through ou account of the water on the road.
