NEW SOUTH WALES TRAGEDIES.
Sydney, November 5. A tragedy has occurred at SprOg-ter-cce, r-?r O r a"ge. Particulars state that a boy named Duncan, aged fifteen years, shot dead bis employer, a fanner named Connolly, after family prayers, in which the murderer participated.
The boy got a shot gun and fired through a window as Connolly was retiring to bed- . In a confession to the police, Duncan declared the deed was due to the rough treatment he had received, and threat* by Connolly that he would return him to the State school.
A tragedy is reported from Aunaudale.
Albert O’Grady, a motor mechanic, had accused bis wife of infidelity, and the ; ait quarrelled. The wife left the borne on Saturday, but returned to-day, when O’Grady desired a reconciliation. The wife declined, and went to her bedroom, where her infant was lying. O’Grady followed, and cut the throats of both with a razor.
He then surrendered himself to the police.
