BOWLING.

A very pleasant game took place on Labour Day, when a team from Terrace End consisting of Messrs Short, Martin, Turner and Sollitt (s), met a rink from Foxton. The teams were very evenly matched and the 20th head showed 16 all. The final head, when the skips went down, was 3 in favour of the visitors, but a good drive by the Foxton skip altered the positions and put Foxton 4 up. The green was a trifle heavy after all the rain we have bad, but fhe game was much enjoyed by all. Scores : Foxton. Tkkkace Enu. Spring Short Rimmer Martin Woods Turner Witchell (s) 20 Sollitt (s) 16
