Mr D. Green wants to buy a set of Avery scales, to weigh up to five cwt. Opening entries for the next Himatangi stock sale are advertised in this issue. Mr O. Cook advertises for a youth to ride out, and make iiinu df generally useful. C. M. itoss and Co., Palmerston North, advertise to-day a three days carnival of Bargains on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week, when all the left-overs of their Winter Sale will be cleared at sensational prices.* Messrs J. Mounsey and Co. notify that their next local auction sale will be held in Nye’s yard on Monday next, commencing at 1 p.m. Among the goods to be submitted under the hammer is a consignment oi furniture. Further entries are solicited.
Mr John Mason, solicitor, of Palmerston North, has made arrangements to open a branch office in Foxton, and in future will be in attendance in rooms in Mrs Hamer s building every Wednesday and Thursday. His first visit will be next Wednesday, the nth inst.
