Wkllington, August 5. The Appeal Court has suspended Wm. George Somerville lor three years, aud ordered him to pay 35 guineas costs, aud gave him a month to close his office. Somerville. who is a barrister, was charged with converting to his own use ,£1,700 of clients’ money. It was contended he was covered by an agreement with his client, but the Court held the agreement was not proved. In the case against John Gwynneth Stevens, under the Law Practitioners’ Act, the Court ot Appeal found the charges proved, and made absolute the rule uisi, calling on Stevens to show cause why his name should not be removed from the roll of solicitors.
