The rink will be open lor skaters and spectators as usual at 7.30, aud Mr Riley’s exhibition will commence at 8.45.

• PICTURE SHOW.

The picture show to-morrow uight promises to be a great success, the programs . - a good oue, the films clear and bright, and the subjects all inat could be desired.

“ A Spartan Mother ” is a fine spectacular war drama based on au incident in the second battle ot Bull Run, showing how a boy recruit crazed with lear tries to hide at home, but his mother will not have her boy a coward, so she drives him out with the confederate flag, aud the boy in a delirium of fear not knowing where he is going rushes on to the battle-field and the retreating soldiers rally with the flag aud return to the fight and to victory. “A Day with the Yarmouth Fishers”; amongst the many subjects portrayed are shooting the nets, which reach a distance of 2J2 miles, gulls stealing a meal, clearing the nets of fish, homeward bound, aud the Scotch fisher lassies going to meet the boats, etc.

A novelty film by the Vitagraph Company i.-> “ i,ady Champion Swimmers,” quite an unusual subject, aud worth seeing. A screaming comic “A Tenacious Hubby,” tells how the wife tried to get rid of a tiresome husband and a most novel chase takes place over the roofs of railway carriages and all manner of places, aud at last arrayed as a diver, she descends to the depths of the sea amongst the fishes and so gets rid of her tiresome spouse. There are many other films all of a first-class order as will be seen by an advertisement elsewhere.
